Staying within the existing house footprint, we designed a whole new floor of living space in the existing unfinished basement, creating a new kitchen with french doors level out to the southfacing back yard for the perfect outdoor entertainment. Design details include custom cabinets, reuse some existing appliances, precut travertine countertop from Italics, and a dining area, home theatre, and master suite. Contractor: Stephen Swan and cabinetmaker Peter Witte.  Budget $250,000.
