acacia house

This is the Acacia house in Oakland. It is an architects dream to be able to design and build a  home for herself. The new, custom house in the Oakland/Rockridge fire area has approximately 2400 square feet, with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a study and family room. The modern, custom-designed kitchen opens to the dining and living room spaces. Special Nana doors include the outside living space. The home office is above the garage. Built in 1996/97 by owners and Stephen Swan, general contractor and cabinetmaker Peter Witte, this house had a budget of $420,000.
